I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF A PHOTOGRAPH.

How absolutely incredible is it that you can capture a split second of time!? I’ve always been fascinated by this concept and have created a reality that has allowed me to do this as my career (don’t give up your day dreams!) I was born n’ raised, and photographed probably more than then average pre-digitial-age kid, by parents that also spent many a weekend photographing weddings…which fed my need to be a creative in every facet of my life - both personal and professional. And I could not be more grateful!

I’M SO EXCITED!

I’m a pretty laid back gal, but I do get pretty exited about photography! I’m an incredibly passionate soul and ring oh so true to what a Pisces is!! It’s fantastic that our paths have crossed and that you’re just as excited as I am about capturing the most important moments of your life.

And, you’re in good hands! I went through the Fine Arts program at the University of Manitoba completing my Thesis year in 2008, have my award-winning photog dad as the best mentor, have always dreamed of being part of the wedding industry (I created wedding magazines when I was 6 years old…) been a home-based business since 2013, and can not imagine a day without creating!! (I also run 2 design businesses!)

I should also mention, I LOVE cats (well, animals in general)…especially mine! They were rescued out of a dumpster as kittens and I fell in love with them the first time I saw them. So naturally, I named my business after them! Kiwi is the “KI” and Dexter is the “EX” - pronounced KEY-EX.

You thrive on authenticity, colour, spontaneity and are willing to venture into the night and create some really kick-ass images by trusting my imagination. And if you want to know more, read on....I LOVE waterslides, a good thunderstorm out at the cabin, pickles - any kind of pickles, forts, starry nights at the cabin, the loft at the cabin, and if you didn't catch on, I love my cabin. My style in all aspects of my life is very whimsical and eclectic. My home is filled with knick-nacks and memories that create such a good vibe. Self-proclaimed ambient light/lamp junkie. It's a basic necessity to have a string of lights (okay, multiple) hung around the house at all times. And lot's of lamps. I would travel the world non-stop, or at least for a year at a time, if I allowed myself to. I love traveling…so my passport is always up to date and my suitcase ready to be packed!!
